Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As CEO, Chris Moats has responsibility for overseeing all operations of the company; including business development and customer service, information technology, and managing the financial institutions. Under his direction, EMS has established a global presence as a contract manufacturer of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Mr. Moats has extensive experience in the electronics industry. He has successfully penetrated top and mid-tier accounts driving sales initiatives and winning business on a global basis. Specializing in International Business Dealings, Mr. Moats holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.

VP of Business Development

Scott Moats is a seasoned Vice President of Business Development with extensive experience in electronics contract assembly, bringing a rare blend of strategic sales leadership and hands-on program management expertise. With a deep understanding of the full product lifecycle—from early-stage design and NPI through volume production— he has successfully built and scaled customer relationships across industrial, medical, and high-reliability markets. Known for aligning customer requirements with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams, Scott drives sustainable growth by translating complex technical needs into executable programs that deliver on cost, quality, and time-to-market objectives.

Chief Operations Officer (COO), China

As Chief Operations Officer of the facilities for EMS Technologies in China, Ron Tan has played a pivotal role in developing EMS Technologies global network infrastructure and overseeing operations in the China region for the company. Mr. Tan has brought valuable strategic and tactical experience to our international business dealings and the management of our factories in China.

John Chang
John Chang

Chief Operations Officer (COO), Taiwan

As Chief Operations Officer in Taiwan, John Chang is tasked with delivering world class supply solutions to small and medium sized OEM’s in Asia, enabling them to compete with larger manufacturers already flush with resources. Mr. Chang manages the infrastructure for our Taiwan assets and is responsible for everything from prototyping through production for OEM’s bringing a product to market.
In previous roles, Mr. Chang has been involved with managing projects that include acquiring proposals and/or specifications from Hewlett Packard, Dell, Compaq, Lexmark, and Epson.Mr. Chang specializes in new product planning and development, project coordination and problem solving, and project management. He has over 10 years of experience in Toastmasters training and holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a MBA from Tam Kang University in Taiwan.
JC Perilla

COO (Chief Operations Officer) - Colombia

An accomplished Executive MBA and International Business Developer with over 15 years of experience architecting and executing sales growth across the Americas’ electrical and electronics sector. His career has been built on a proven ability to design and lead high-impact sales channels, from direct enterprise engagement to strategic distributor partnerships, consistently driving revenue for global contract manufacturing and complex service portfolios.

Mr. Perilla’s core expertise is in orchestrating strategic negotiations at all levels of the value chain. He leads complex commercial discussions with global distributors to secure market access and alignment, while simultaneously engaging directly with end production clients to develop tailored solutions. By integrating this dual-channel sales leadership with deep operational insight into manufacturing and supply chain, he ensures that commercial strategy is seamlessly executed, translating ambitious sales targets into profitable, scalable business reality.

Roddy Wagner

Regional Sales Manager - Midwest / Western USA

Roddy Wagner has vast of experience in the electronic component industry with sales experience in distribution and as a manufactures representative. He spent 10 years in the Central Florida market with a regional electro mechanical distributor and has build deep relationships in his market. His strengths are in customer service, design and project management.

Roddy Wagner holds a Bachelors Degree from University of Central Florida.

Pat O’Brien

Regional Sales Manager - Eastern USA

Pat O’Brien is a sales professional with a vast experience in the electronics industry, specializing in field sales across authorized and independent distribution. He has led East Coast and U.S. sales efforts, partnering with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contract manufacturers. He has worked internationally, especially with a strong focus on Asia, to support global supply chain and manufacturing initiatives. 

Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.

Camilo Díaz

Regional Sales Manager - Latin America / Europe

Camilo Díaz has over 16 years of experience in electronics and industrial markets. He has primarily been focused in Appliance Industry, Tier 2 and 3 Automotive customers and Medium size Contract Manufacturers.

Camilo developed Central and South American markets with TE Connectivity (Former Tyco Electronics) before starting operations for Future Electronics as General Sales Manager for 9 years including Central Mexico, Baja California and Sonora State. Among his main accounts we can find: MABE/GE, Whirlpool, HP, Magnetti Marelli, HUF, Creation and Milwaukee Electronics.

Camilo Díaz holds a BSc. Electronics Engineering from Los Andes University in Colombia and EMBA from INALDE Business School.
